Mariah Carey was born on May 29th, 1979. Her mother was an opera singer, and vocolist teacher. Her father left/deserted the family, while Mariah was still a child. Mariah was acting as a back-up vocalist when she got her start. She was also working part-time as a waitress at a local resturant. Now, she is 29 years old, and still singing. She has had many hit singles such as, Vision of Love, Love Takes Time, Someday, I Don't Wanna Cry, Emotions, I'll Be There, Dreamlover, Hero, Fantasy, One Sweet Day, Always Be My Baby, Honey, My All, Butterfly, Breakdown, ect. She has songs with Mase, Puffy (Puff Daddy), Trey Lorenz, and among others. She was married to Tommy Mottola, but divorced him 1998/1999. He was basically her manager. Her whole carrer started when a friend of Mariah's took her to a party. Her friend showed a record producer a demo type Mariah had made. He refusded it, but another record producer (Tommy) next to him, took it instead. He listened to while riding home that night. He told his driver to turn around and go back to the party, but when he did, Mariah was not there. From then on, Mariah Carey's success grew bigger and bigger. Mariah has preformed all around the world. In China, Japan, and other countries, too. Her success continues to grow, as I type. As you read this. I hope one day to meet her, in REAL life. But, until then, I meet her in my dreams. Maybe not everynight, not even everyweek, but oh, well. I still absoulutly love her music. I am a VERY devoted fan, and I will continue to be, even if she stops making music. I still have a collection of her music, her music videos, photographs, and many other stuff. | ||||||||||||||||
